FACILITIES ENGINEER

TELFORD - SHROPSHIRE

Monday - Friday / 37 hours per week / 8:15am - 5:00pm (Mon - Thur) / 8:15am - 12:15pm (Fri)

35,500 - 38,400 per annum + Benefits.

As a result of consistent orders and demand for their products, a Market leading FMCG manufacturing company has a requirement for a Facilities Maintenance Engineer to join their Building Services Team.

This role will suit Facilities Engineer who has good exposure to working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. If you have worked in other sectors but have strong facilities maintenance experience, this is still considered!

Role Description

• Providing both Reactive & Planned Preventative Maintenance across a wide range of Facilities and Building Services.
• Fault Finding both Mechanically & Electrically.
• Perform installation work, supporting site and process modifications including supplies and services to work equipment.
• Fault finding and repair on HVAC plant, electrical systems, BMS, pneumatic and energy monitoring systems.
• Ensuring work is carried out in a safety conscious fashion.
• Working within a team of 5 Facilities Engineers.
• Reporting on recurrent faults and facilitating repair activities with the Engineering team / supervisor.
• Reporting into the Engineering Supervisor.

Skills and Qualifications

• Facilities / Building Services Maintenance experience.
• Formal Mechanical or Electrical Qualifications - Level 3+.
• Ability to perform both planned and reactive Maintenance.
• Experience of working within a manufacturing environment (desirable).
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
