Facilities EngineerLocation: AstraZeneca – Macclesfield - SK10 2NASalary: £45,000 - £52,500 based on experience Excellent range of employee benefitsSodexo have an excellent new opportunity for an experienced Facilities Engineer to join our established team working with AstraZeneca in Macclesfield. In this role you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the optimal functionality and availability of plant facilities while maintaining compliance with Good Practice (GXP) and Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) regulations. You will also directly contribute to the development, implementation, and enhancement of maintenance strategies for assets, utilising current best practices, tools, and techniques. Collaborating closely with the Duty Holders you will uphold and enforce engineering compliance, delegating responsibilities as necessary.Join Sodexo and be part of something greater. You belong in a team where you can act with purpose and thrive in your own way.About You Experience and knowledge requirement for this role: Ideally have a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering or equivalent technical experience.Background in the pharmaceutical or GMP industry is highly desired.Proven experience in engineering with a focus on optimisation and innovation.Demonstrates a sound understanding of engineering within IFM services, and how it contributes directly to the business objectives.Understanding and experience of managing a commercial contract agreement.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work autonomously and take initiative. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Demonstrated ability to contribute to the development and execution of long-term technical plans. What we offerWorking with Sodexo is more than a job; it’s a chance to be part of something greater.
