Role : Static Facilities Engineer / Supervisor
Package up to 42,000pa / 37.5 hour week / 8.00am - 4pm, 22 days + 8 bank holidays / Over time available
The Role
We are currently recruiting for a Static Facilities Engineer / Supervisor in Luton to join our team working on site. We have been established for over 20 years specialising in Gas, Air Conditioning and Electrical services across the UK. Liaise with stakeholders both internal and external to control / monitor the property and maintenance operations
To gain quotes for additional maintenance and repairs works on site and submit options to the procurement department
Work closely with contractors and subcontractors on site so it runs smoothly, including carrying out supplier reviews
Monitor and inspect building systems, equipment, and infrastructure to ensure they are operating efficiently and safely.
Oversee preventive maintenance programs and ensure timely completion of scheduled maintenance tasks.
Coordinate with external contractors and service providers as needed for specialised repairs or services.
Ensure all work complies with regulations, as well as industry standards.
Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure a safe working environment.
Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures among the Facilities Engineering team.
Liaising regularly with the client on any project works and to be the technical go to person on site
Engineers tasks including plant room checks, lighting lamp replacements, toilet area checks, general on site maintenance
Weekly fire alarm and generator fuel checks
Monthly utility readings, water temperature checks and emergency lighting
Planned maintenance checks every 6 months ( Excluding gas and aircon)
