Join Close Brothers Facilities Team where you will play an integral role within the team that supports the delivery of Facilities Operations for Close Brothers. The role plays a vital part within the delivery of Health & Safety, Security/Access Control, Hard and Soft Services, Projects and Minor Works working with third party contractors on the delivery of but not limited contracts such as catering, cleaning, maintenance and security.

You will be a team player that can demonstrate flexibility, with the ability to show a wider Facilities knowledge in support of the team. The role is client facing and will rely on good interpersonal skills and customer service as large areas of the role will be invested in supporting the business functions and their needs.

Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will be expected to be punctual, self-motivated and demonstrate the ability to own your responsibilities to ensure high standard of delivery in all areas.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Office Moves & Space planning – supporting the team in the organisation and delivery of moves and space change requests.
  • Quality assurance – to undertake daily, weekly and monthly walk rounds, to monitor and maintain the condition of the building, housekeeping, health and safety performance of staff and the businesses in all areas of our buildings.
  • Health and Safety – to undertake tasks, record keeping and implement changes as directed by the Facilities Manager and to be a champion of health and safety, this will also involve attending meetings and helping represent the Facilities team at all levels.
  • Facilities Helpdesk – to work closely with our third-party contractors to ensure that all tickets are dealt with efficiently within agreed SLA’s. To monitor helpdesk performance and ensure stakeholders are receiving the high service expectations. Issue monthly helpdesk statistic reports to the facilities manager.
  • Security/Access Control – To support our third-party contractor and Front of House Manager with day-to-day security provisions. To carry out regular audits of the CCTV and access control systems to ensure they are functioning as we require. To be a champion of security protocols.
  • Front of House services – to work alongside the front of house team to ensure a smooth running of their service and act as a point of escalation/troubleshooting.

  • Team player and flexibility
  • Health and safety experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft and outlook IT packages

IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE:

  • 3-5 years previous experience within a Facilities service environment
  • IOSH
