Are you ready to take charge and manage an exciting infrastructure project?

Keyman Personnel, on behalf of a prestigious client, is seeking an experienced and motivated Freelance Site Agent to take the helm of a prestigious infrastructure project.

The Opportunity:

As the Freelance Site Agent, you will play a pivotal role managing a team constructing new reinforced concrete structures, including responsibility for health, safety, environment and quality in accordance with contract requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day management of the project site, ensuring that work is completed safely and efficiently
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to create and maintain detailed project plans and schedules
• Implement quality control measures and monitor progress to ensure that all work meets or exceeds client specifications
• Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to coordinate deliveries, resources, and personnel
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, promoting a culture of safety awareness among the workforce
• Prepare and present regular progress reports for senior management and stakeholders

Experience:

• Considerable experience in Civil Engineering, with strong technical knowledge
• Demonstrable experience with the construction of reinforced concrete structures
• Knowledge of the requirements and implementation of CDM Regulations
• Good knowledge of specifications and testing regime relevant to general civil engineering/specification for infrastructure works
• Experience of managing a small team using own initiative
• Good organisational skills
• Ability to produce RAMS, Task Briefing Sheets, and safe systems of work
• Knowledge of Safety, Quality and Environmental systems

Qualifications:

• Degree/HNC/HND in civil engineering or similar
• Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers or equivalent desirable
• IOSH Managing Safely
• SMSTS
• CSCS Card
• HS2 inducted already desirable
• Temporary Works Supervisor / Coordinator desirable
• First Aider desirable
• Fire Marshall desirable
• Fit for work medical (or safety critical medical) desirable
