Job Overview:
As a Project Engineer / Site Agent, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from inception to completion. This role demands a hands-on approach, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. You will work closely with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise construction projects, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
• Manage and monitor project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
• Conduct site inspections and oversee all construction activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to maintain effective communication and address any issues that arise.
• Prepare and submit project documentation, including progress reports, budgets, and schedules.
• Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Lead and motivate project teams to achieve project goals and deliverables.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges to ensure smooth project execution.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Project Engineer or Site Agent in the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Proficient in project management software and tools.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various project sites.
