Factory Manager

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the production process and ensure that production targets are met
- Develop and implement strategies to improve production efficiency and reduce costs
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of products
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels to meet customer demands
- Implement quality control measures to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction
- Analyse production data and identify areas for improvement
- Train and supervise production staff to ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards
- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize production systems and processes
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in production technology

• Agreeing timescales
• Determining quality assurance standards
• Overseeing production processes
• Supervising and managing production workers
• Ensure stock levels are recorded and maintained
• Confirmation of delivery dates
• Confirming updates as doors/items move through production
• Conducting a weekly stock take.
• Computer aided design (CAD)
• Health and Safety implementation
• Weekly air compressor checks
• Maintaining manual production system
• Ensure forklift checks are being carried out
• Machine programming

Qualifications:
- Experience in door manufacturing (preferably Fire Door Manufacturing)
- Proven experience as a Factory Manager or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of assembly systems and business processes
- Mechanical knowledge to understand equipment operation and troubleshoot issues
- CAD and CNC programming knowledge essential
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of quality control principles and practices
