SalaryExtrastaff are currently recruiting for a Factory Manager for a well-established company based in Watford. This is a great opportunity for someone to progress within a busy environment.
The duties of the role will include:
You are responsible for your own personal health and safety and for those around you and must comply with all Company H&S policies and advice
Implement and maintain industry-leading standards of Health & Safety for the Company in line with ISO45001 and stay up to date with all current legal requirements and industry best practice
Ensure customer orders are completed on time, to budget and to the right quality
Ensure lead-times are maintained at or better than Company targets
Investigate product quality issues and implement corrective action
Provide technical support to the team and to all internal departments requiring it, ie estimating
Maintain optimal stock of all stocked product lines
Key Requirements
Conduct stock-takes in line with Company policy, both informal and formal
Maintain safe methods of materials storage
Select, order and purchase materials for production and stock in line with purchasing policy
Maintain a secure and clean working environment in all areas, i.e. production, welfare, office
Manage and motivate the Operations team
