SalaryWe are recruiting a Factory Operative to work within an Engineering Company on a permanent night shift basis. You will have used small hand tools and be happy working in an industrialised environment.
Your main duties will include:
- Processing of parts in accordance with Works Instruction.
- Filing of castings/moulded parts using compressed air driven hand grinding tools
- Manual Handling
- Moving boxes of castings around the factory and general housekeeping
- Band saw operation
- Completing the relevant job cards
You will be working 46 hours per week when on Permanent Nights.
- 18.00-06.00 Monday-Thursday
The hourly pay rate is £11.59 per hour on days and £13.33 on nights plus overtime at an enhanced rate.
Initially you will start work on days for training purposes.
Ideally have previous factory/ manufacturing experience, however full training will be provided.
