Warwick is embarking on an ambitious programme Social Sciences Connect which will see a host of activities to support University’s Excellence with Purpose 2030 strategy, and will position Warwick as a regional, national, and international driving force for social scientific enquiry with real-world application and impact.
We’re looking to appoint a maternity cover position for the role of Faculty Student Recruitment Officer who will champion our Student Recruitment efforts for the Faculty of Social Science. You’ll sit within the central Global Student Recruitment Team, part of our Marketing, Communications and Insight Department.
This is a maternity cover and will suit someone who is passionate about Student Recruitment and working with departments across the University to support its wider faculty and departmental aspirations in a diverse range of key markets.
The role will also have some limited opportunities to travel overseas to represent Warwick and support its Student Recruitment activities.

Please note, this is a hybrid role. You’ll be required to work from our Coventry campus at least two specified anchor days each week to support community building, and cross-team learning. You will also be required to come to campus more frequently as you support, prepare for, and deliver recruitment activity. This role may require UK and international travel.
- You’ll have a passion for Student Recruitment, with demonstrable experience recruiting to postgraduate and undergraduate programmes. You’ll be interested in applying this within the Social Sciences Faculty.
- You’ll shape annual Student Recruitment faculty plans, and importantly, you’ll deliver this activity on our beautiful campus, across the world and through online initiatives.
- You’ll build relationships with agents, school subject leads across the world.
- There will be some international travel focussing on recruiting to the faculty, but also supporting recruitment to the wider university.
- You’ll work with prospective undergraduate and postgraduate students, and their influencers.
- You’ll work collaboratively with the Marketing to build and strengthen relationships with students, academics, and alumni, encouraging them to contribute to recruitment activity.
- You’ll have a good understanding of the prospective student journey, and excellent experience of working in an education liaison role.
You’ll be passionate about the Social Sciences, and keen to promote the benefits of these degrees to prospective students.

The post holder will be based in the Marketing and Student Recruitment team. You will work across regional teams and alongside other Faculty Officers to lead on faculty recruitment plans for Social Sciences.
