Job Title:Student Immigration Advice and Compliance Officer

Salary: £29,605 - £32,982 per annum - SS4

The Role:
University College Birmingham's Compliance team is recruiting for a Student Immigration Advice and Compliance Officer to support with University Student Route compliance operations.
To be successful for this role, you will have experience with Student Route immigration category within Higher Education. You will have good knowledge of Student Route Sponsor guidance and experience in applying the rules to support a variety of complex Student Immigration matters.
You should be well versed in UKVI SMS system to include CAS issue and reporting change of circumstances. You will also be familiar with the gov.uk student visa application process to support continuing and returning students with obtaining a visa.
Successful candidates are expected to be proactive problem solvers with excellent communication and organisational skills. Furthermore, you will be assertive in delivering advice to both students and faculty members as well as having a proven track record of withstanding pressures in a very busy and changing environment.
