This role is part of The Bartlett Marketing and Communications team, delivering strategic communications and marketing for The Bartlett faculty and all departments.
About the role
This is a permanent, part-time role, currently offered as either 0.6FTE (3 days a week) or 0.8FTE (4 days a week). Please outline in the beginning of your application which FTE you would like to apply for. The Bartlett are looking to appoint a Faculty Support Officer to join the Faculty Operations Team. This is a new position and has been designed to support and deliver a wide range of administrative tasks within the faculty’s professional services team. The post holder will support Climate Action activities, working with the Faculty Climate Action Lead and Equality Diversity and Inclusion work, working with the Equality Diversity and Inclusion Manager as well as servicing faculty committees. This support is vital to maintain the efficiency and effectiveness of faculty operations. The successful candidate will be highly professional, proactive and flexible. They will uphold a culture of teamwork and responsibility. They will provide the highest level of service to staff and students and should have an interest in Climate Action and Sustainability, as well as Equality Diversity and Inclusion.
About you
The successful candidate will have a background in providing excellent administrative support services across a wide range of administrative and organisational tasks, team working and experience of servicing committee meetings. They will have strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills including the ability to build successful relationships and contribute towards maintaining a positive work environment. They will be able to work independently, with a flexible approach to changing priorities and taking up new tasks when required. They will have strong administration and IT skills and an ability to work independently. They will have strong organisational skills with experience of planning and prioritising their workload to meet deadlines. They will have excellent written and oral communication skills and the confidence to work collaboratively with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
