We are looking for a highly motivated, self-starting, creative individual with strong ICT, communication and people skills, to join our friendly Families Information Service team, part of Early Childhood Services.
The successful candidate will help us in delivering excellent customer service as part of this interesting role, which involves maintaining and updating Notts Help Yourself, our web-based community directory of childcare information and services for families, devising posts for Families Information Service social media and attending community events to market and promote Nottinghamshire’s diverse range of services for children and families. From April 2024, more parents are expected to access funded childcare for children under the age of five and have access to childcare wrapped around the school day for primary school aged children. Working with colleagues across the County, the role will work with early years providers to publicise the extended entitlement for working families and with schools to publicise their Wraparound offer.
This is a two-year, fixed term post from April 2024 to March 2026 and will be a mixture of hybrid working from home, from the office base in Ollerton, other county council and community venues. We look forward to hearing from applicants with details of how your previous experiences will assist you to hit the ground running, helping deliver these exciting developments.
