Family Learning Contract Lead
F/T 37 hours per week - 6 month fixed term contract in first instance
Based in Newhaven with some travel across East Sussex to delivery outreach venues
£28,696 per annum

Based within our Community Development & Health team as part of the Family Inclusion service area, you will coordinate, supervise, develop and deliver a suite of Family Learning courses within the offer to local children & families.
 
Working from a Newhaven location, you will consult & build partnerships in the community with stakeholders to develop community engagement, helping families’ access courses and get connected to improve neighbourhoods and meet identified needs.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• Significant and proven experience of project and service development, delivering and evaluating services &/or courses in the community, if possible related to children & families
• Training/coaching and delivery to groups 
• Supervisory experience, inc volunteers
• Experience of partnership and multi-agency working
• Experience of reporting, monitoring and evaluating

You will be a motivated self-starter who is able to plan and manage time effectively, use your initiative and have a flexible & positive approach to Family Learning & community engagement.  The post is subject to a DBS check. Being a car owner and driver is preferred.
