Location: Sudbury or Haverhill, Suffolk (Hybrid)
Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:30 - 5:30 Friday 8:30 - 5pm (Hours can be flexible)
Salary: Circa GBP50,000 depending on experience

A medium sized, highly regarded law firm are looking for a Qualified Family Solicitor to join their team. This role can be based in their Cambridge or Saffron Walden branch however hybrid and flexible working is offered. Working alongside one other Solicitor, you will manage case by case with some highly sensitive matters therefore working with empathy towards clients is essential. This is an excellent opportunity if you are looking to grow and build upon your experience as a Qualified Family Solicitor or are looking to join a family, friendly orientated business where you add value with your experience and knowledge within Family Law.

- Managing caseloads of family law cases such as divorce, child custody, domestic violence and adoption but not limited to
- Representing clients in the best possible way at court hearings and mediations
- Negotiating settlements
- Carrying out legal research to ensure advice and matters are handled in the best possible way
- Preparing and managing legal documents
- Working closely with social workers and counsellors to provide further support on behalf of clients
- Providing advice and support to clients on all family law matters
- With the support of a Legal PA, booking and arranging meetings
What we are looking for:
- Qualified Solicitor with experience of working within Family Law
- Ability to manage and handle sensitive cases
- Up to date knowledge on family law
- Demonstrate a professional and empathetic manner to clients
- Ability to manage own caseloads effectively
- Exceptional communication skills
- Willingness to keep up to date with any changes in laws and legislations
