Family Support Assistant

Hooray are proud to be exclusively supporting an established charity to assist in the recruitment for three Family Support Assistants to join their team on a part-time (Saturday working) basis.

As a Family Support Assistant you will:
Facilitate handovers that take place between parents and children
Record arrival and departure times for each family
Write observations reports within agreed time-frames
Monitor contact between parents and children ensuring their safety at all times
Raise any concerns to your manager
Ensure confidentiality and impartiality at all times
To be successful as a Family Support Assistant, you will:
Be confident in dealing with complex, sensitive or confidential scenarios
Be able to manage your own workload with minimum supervision
Experience of working with children and families would be advantageous however, not essential
Hold a level 3 in a child related field or be willing to work towards this
In return, my client is offering an annual salary of up to £25,094 pro rata. Please note this is a part-time position (Saturday working only!)
