DRIVERS PREFERRED

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Delivering practical and emotional care to individuals, empowering them to lead as normal a life as possible.

Availability for work on bank holidays and occasional weekends.

Active involvement in implementing individual support plans and activities within a challenging environment.

Maintaining effective communication and connections with service users, families, and others, always respecting confidentiality.

Assisting service users with meal preparation, laundry, cleaning, and washing.

Qualifications & Requirements:

The client operates under Ofsted regulations, and all successful applicants must meet the following criteria:

Possession of an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care for Children and Young People or an equivalent qualification.

Ability to work flexibly, including early shifts, late shifts, weekends, bank holidays, and night shifts.

A willingness to complete an Enhanced DBS disclosure or already having one in place if successful.

Prior experience working with children and young people in similar diagnosis or settings.

Obtainable references covering a span of 5 years.

Prospero Health & Social Care is seeking Support Workers to collaborate with young people and adults facing learning disabilities, autism, and challenging behaviour.

We offer a variety of shifts, including long days, nights, and weekends.

We provide support to adults dealing with a range of learning disabilities, mental health conditions, and challenging behavior.

To Apply for the Role:

Possess the legal right to work in the UK.

Have an up-to-date DBS registration on the update service or be willing to undergo a DBS check through Prospero. Capable of providing references covering the last 5 years.

Submit a CV detailing all job and education dates.

Possess at least one year of recent experience in a care setting involving learning disabilities, challenging behaviour, and autism.

Completion of the full care certificate.
