An opportunity has arisen for a Family Support Worker to be located in our North Area Office, Lawrence Weston, BS11 0QE. We currently have three full time equivalent vacancies.
You will need to have an understanding of Children’s Social Care as well as good interpersonal skills, flexibility and an understanding of the vulnerabilities experienced by the children and families who receive a service.
You will work jointly with Social Workers to support families in increasing parenting capacity or by supervising family time for children who are not currently cared for by their parents. You will need to demonstrate good organisational and written skills as well as a capacity to work under pressure.
