West Berkshire’s Family Hubs offer a range of services to support families with children aged 0-19, focusing on those with children aged 0-4 years.
The successful candidate will be required to work alongside individual families, support them in gaining a better understanding of their child’s early development, help resolve family issues; such as parental conflict, managing unwanted behaviours, build parental confidence and self-esteem, support around Domestic Abuse, You will be required to attend various meetings such as: Child Protection Conferences, strategy meetings and My Family Plans. The successful candidate will support colleagues with the planning and delivery of parent baby/child sessions, based around the Early Years Foundation Stages, supporting with facilitating Family Learning courses, covering creches.
If you have excellent communication skills, can show empathy and understanding; write and maintain accurate factual and clear case notes, the flexibility to work some evenings and would like to make a difference to the lives of families and their children, we would like to hear from you.
