Farm Shop Assistant Manager

We are currently looking for people with a real passion for the food and a flair for great customer service to join our team as a retail member in our award winning Farm Shop.

The position is for immediate start with competitive salary, staff discount and free uniform.

As a Farm Shop Sales Assistant you will need to be able to deliver excellent customer service whilst sharing a passion for quality produce. Successful applicants without question will require energy and shed loads of confidence as you will be working in a fast paced and fun environment as part of a supportive team. Ideally you will have worked in similar food, restaurant or cafe environments before or you’ll simply be a true foodie so the basics come easily to you. We are open seven days a week so being able to work flexibly is vital. You will be chatting to our customers every day so having a great level of spoken English is pretty important too.

As well as delivering an amazing experience to our customers, having a great eye for detail, passion for quality products and knowledgeable about fresh produce, Your responsibilities will include:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Manage day-to-day operations of the Farm Shop, including inventory management, and customer service.

-Lead and educate team of assistants, encouraging them to perform their best throughout the day.
- Ensure high-quality, fresh produce is consistently stocked and beautifully displayed.
- Educate customers on seasonal produce, cooking tips, and the farm-to-table journey.
- Foster a friendly and engaging atmosphere where customers feel valued and appreciated.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Deep knowledge of fruits, vegetables, and their growing seasons.
- Previous experience in retail or customer service, preferably in a Farm Shop or similar setting.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.

- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Pay: £11.50-£13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
