Are you an experienced payroll and sales ledger professional seeking an exciting opportunity in a dynamic environment? Look no further! Our client is actively seeking a dedicated individual to join their team as a Fees Ledger & Payroll Clerk on a full-time, permanent basis.
As the Deputy Fees Ledger and Payroll Clerk, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of all accounting processes within the Fees Ledger. Your responsibilities will include meeting billing deadlines, monitoring payments and receipts, and providing detailed financial reports as necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Managing fee invoice preparation process, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
- Liaising with staff to ensure the correct charging of fees
- Preparation and submission of termly and monthly Direct Debit collections
- Maintenance of the bank account relating to sales and performing bank reconciliations
- Administration of deposit refunds and fees refund scheme
- Providing fees and billing reports and analysis for the Finance Manager
- Updating the Sales Ledger to ensure accurate postings and reconciliations
- Managing journals related to the Fees Ledger and performing monthly reconciliations
- Overseeing credit control and debt collection processes in line with bursary management and Payroll support
Skills & Experience:
- Relevant experience within payroll AND sales ledger
- Exceptional communication abilities
- Proficiency in financial software (Sage or Freemaster) and Microsoft Office
