Hours/shifts: Three mornings a week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. These are 1 hour shifts and shift times can be between 8am-11am (this can be discussed at interview. Holiday and sickness cover may be available when required.
Summary
I am a happy go lucky lady looking for support with some personal care and minor household tasks to enable me to live independently. I am a spiritual person who is open to everyone from all different walks of life. I love my arts and crafts and enjoy making candles and cards.
The successful applicant must be comfortable with providing personal care as you will be supporting me to get showered and ready for the day ahead.

• Must be comfortable with cats
• Non-smoker preferred or someone who is willing to refrain from smoking during work hours.
• Must have a UK driving licence

Description
Typical duties
Domestic -
Support with:
Making my bed
Changing bed sheets when requested
Take washing off of the airer
Making a hot drink for me
Personal Care:
Support with:
Showering
Washing my back and other parts of my body I am unable to
Wash/Dry my hair when requested
Support to dry me
Support to get me dressed

The successful applicant will be:
Female due to personal care needs
Must be comfortable with cats
Able to tolerate the employer smoking in the work place
Respectful of the employer’s privacy and confidentiality
Reliable with good time-keeping
Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
Hygienic, tidy minded and well organised
Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
Patience and possess excellent interpersonal skills
Honest and cheerful
Creative
Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
Legally permitted to work in the United Kingdom
Able to work at all times to high standards of Health & Safety
Previous experience preferred but this is not as essential as a kind and common sense approach to these roles.
