Female Security Search Officer

About the RoleWe are looking for enthusiastic Female's to join our dynamic and hard-working team at the Port in Belfast.
Your friendly and welcoming nature will be the security presence needed to reassure people they are entering an area, within which they will be kept safe due to your diligence and vigilance.
We specify this post as a female Search Officer because you will be searching female passengers on arrival and exit.

2 early shifts 0600 - 14002 late shifts 1400 - 22302 days offEvery other week there will be on late shift ending at 3:30amThis role consists of regular body searches and climbing into and out of cabsSIA license is required (or willingness to undergo training to achieve this)Working at the Port in Belfast
Job OpportunityYour responsibilities will include:
Searching female passengers on arrival and exit to the PortSearch of equipment and manual search techniques, in order to ensure that no prohibited articles are taken through the PortXray screening and bag searchingVehicle Search and Freight SearchResolve queries from customers and assist them with their journey through the PortAdhere to security notices, completing documentation clearly and concisely on any incidents that may have occurredCarry out patrols of the areas to ensure locations are secureAttending to and assisting with emergency situations and investigating reports of incidents
Essential SkillsSIA Licence (or willingness to undergo training to achieve this)The right to work in the UK and a 5-year checkable historyAble to get to the Site on-time for your shifts (reasonable commute)Excellent customer service and good telephone manner
