Request

Are you a friendly and outgoing person?
Do you have a genuine desire to help improve the lives of vulnerable people?
If so, we want to hear from you!
We are recruiting for a female Support Worker to support three ladies in their 50s and 60s in their home in Gilmerton, Edinburgh.
Here, we support the ladies to live the best lives possible by supporting them with whatever they need.  They are very active in their community and enjoy going to local clubs/groups, meeting new people, going shopping and exploring the town.
The ladies have some mobility issues, so there will be support required to help them get around, support with personal care and to administer medication.  Your main goal will be to provide the right support so they can be as independent as possible and are supported to make their own choices.
We would love to hear from enthusiastic applicants who are interested in developing new skills.  If you have a full UK driving license that’s a bonus (but not required) as the ladies have a shared mobility vehicle which they use to get out and about.
Our team provide support 24/7, so we are looking for flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including some weekends.  The shift patterns are:
07.00 - 14.00
14.00 - 21.00
21.00 - 07.00 (waking night - there are no vacancies for waking nights at this time)
We are currently recruiting for a full-time (37.5 hour) Support Worker only.
