I'm a 12-year-old girl who sustained a brain injury at birth, I have complex needs, cerebral palsy and autism. I am looking for enthusiastic, fun, patient and reliable Support Workers to help me engage in the activities I love and to become more independent. You will need to be calm and patient under pressure and be able to apply a consistent approach.I attend a special school but only require additional support outside of school hours so that I can take part in social activities and engage in my music therapy, which I enjoy, I'll also require some assistance with personal care. I like playing with my dolls, swimming, and spending time with animals, I can get a bit nervous when I try something new so will need a bit of extra support on these occasions.
During school holidays your hours are likely to increase to provide extra support at home and to accompany me on day trips.
