Responsibilities:
Editorial:
- Key contact for Advisory Committee members and external session producers.
- Support the Creative Director in the delivery of all Festival sessions
- Develop good relationships with committee and producers
- Working with the Creative Director to compile the Festival schedule
- Manage editorial relationships with outside organisations, as required
- Oversee the production of individual sessions, if required
Production:
- Co-ordinate session information including panellists, chairs, and any production requirements, including collating bios, headshots and copy for all sessions
- Work closely with the Marketing team on collating and delivering all editorial copy for the Festival brochure in line with deadlines
- Work closely with the Travel and Accommodation Co-ordinator to secure bookings for guest speakers
- Oversee and coordinate the creation of any audiovisual material or slides needed for sessions
- Ensuring all speakers are registered for the Festival and that filming release forms have been signed
Marketing & PR:
- Update the Social Media and Content Executive and Festival PR team with any confirmed speakers which can be announced
- Working with the team to ensure editorial information is up to date across the website, programme, and internal working spreadsheets
Other Projects
- Coordinate content for any screenings taking place during the TV Festival. Work with the Creative Director to coordinate talent for a live Q&A at the event and manage the event onsite with an external producer.
Onsite - Edinburgh
- Point of contact for co-ordinating the filming of events
- Liaising with external session producers to ensure their sessions run smoothly
- Coordinate any screening activity
