Are you ready to take the next step in your career and make a significant impact in the world of commercial biotechnology? This newly created role is pivotal in building their technical field team and the service/support infrastructure necessary to bring their innovative platform to market.
Key Responsibilities:
Field Applications:
- Spearhead the creation of technical documentation and training materials.
- Lead and execute pre-commercialisation projects, including demonstrations, prototype testing, feasibility studies, and product evaluations.
- Deliver compelling pre-sales and post-sales technical and scientific presentations to drive product adoption.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), key customers, and strategic partners.
- Serve as the internal and external Subject Matter Expert in their target market segments.
Customer Training:
- Design and implement a seamless onboarding and training experience for new customers.
- Oversee new installations, including facility inspections, assay validation, and customer training sessions.
Service and Support:
- Develop and enhance key company processes to build a world-class customer support organisation.
- Provide comprehensive technical training, support, and troubleshooting for customers.
- Offer scientific and applications feedback to internal teams to continuously improve product workflows.
- Maintain and update support information in the company enterprise database.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Extensive experience in Field Applications/technical service/support roles.
- Proven track record of solving complex technical challenges in the field.
- Experience working in global, cross-functional roles and across multiple sites.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external customers.
- Experience in building training/service/support processes and infrastructure.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Understanding of global regulatory and reimbursement considerations is desirable
- Knowledge of clinical customers, laboratory workflows, and validation activities, from sample to result, and patient reporting, is beneficial.
Working conditions:
- This role is based in London with a hybrid working arrangement (2-3 days in the office per week).
- Up to 50% travel may be required
