Summary
- Serves as a customer and territory expert, including competitive landscape and insights, biggest opportunities and threats, top accounts/deals, contact landscape, key partners, stakeholder alignment (Sales, CX, BE, and Partners).
- Marketing business partner for their aligned Sales leader and their extended leadership team.
- Owns the Marketing strategy and execution plan for their segment, based on intimate customer and market insights and aligned to Sales' priorities and growth areas. Partners with the Marketing and BE Marketing teams to influence and align execution and represents to sales all activation happening in their market.
- Responsible for creating and executing marketing plan within their target accounts to drive growth. Develops target account focus list with Sales, participates in account planning / territory planning for focus accounts. Responsible for ensuring correct tagging and adherence to processes for appropriate marketing attribution in ACE for activations you are driving. Works closely with the Virtual Demand Center to drive effective demand capture and creation.
- Knows top deals for their territory intimately, deploys marketing tactics with Sales at critical stages in the funnel to accelerate pipeline.
- Accountable for audience acquisition, ensuring the right mix of customers are at marketing events and the right customers are aligned to our CIO engagement program.
- Accountable for Sales Enablement, providing visibility to data, engagement insights, customer references, content and events that can help Sales create, accelerate, and close pipeline.
- Develops and owns pipeline forecast, and overall marketing performance against goals and OKRs for their territory, and the relative contribution of marketing in the context of sales performance and priorities. Responsible to achieving Marketing Sourced Pipeline (Direct & Partner) and High Value Engaged goals for their segment. Supports the pipeline and revenue goals of the territory, recognizing that strong marketing results alone do not equal a healthy business.
