We are looking for a Field Operative to work for the Office for National Statistics (ONS)
The position of Field Operatives involves traveling to multiple areas within Northwich, engaging with the public, and encouraging them to complete an online survey sent to them in advance. This survey gathers vital data for the Office of National Statistics, supporting the Government with plans and agendas.
Role:Field Operative
Rate: £12.40 per hour
Location: Crewe/Winsford, Northwich, Cheshire
Job Type: Contractual Role, Initially for 3 months with the possibility of extension
Hours: Part-time, 22 to 30 hours per week - Between the hours of 9:00 am - 8:00 pm
Start: 1st week of February,2024
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Excellent verbal communication skills with a proven ability to persuade reluctant respondents to participate in surveys.
- Self-disciplined, self-motivated, and comfortable working with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in using a laptop and smart phone for data input and retrieval.
- Strong organisational and planning skills.
- Proficient use of technology for information processing.
Essential Requirements:
- Valid UK Driving Licence.
- Willingness to complete a Basic DBS application before induction.
- Willingness to travel a maximum of 40 miles from your original postcode per day.
