What will I be doing as a Field Sales Engineer?
The LenelS2 Field Sales Engineerworks closely with the Sales Team and our Value-Added Resellers within EMEA, providing techno-commercial advice and guidance on LenelS2 solutions. The Field Sales Engineer reports to the UK & Ireland FSE Lead.
Join the Regional Sales Manager and the EMEA sales team in further extending the local footprint while achieving commercial targets in line with the LenelS2 growth vision
Be the regional technical resource and single point of contact both for sales team and for the LenelS2 VAR channel and consultant network
Provide presales field consultancy, quotations, tender support, PoC support and tailored training to authorized LenelS2 resellers, end users and consultants
Initiate and run live and digital events (webinars & presentations) for VARs, end users and consultants
Support the LenelS2 UK & Ireland Sales Team with executive targeting presentations and demos
Represent LenelS2 at regional trade shows and industry events
Regional technical sales liaison with marketing/ engineering/ product management/ operations/ management teams
Requirements
We are looking for an experienced Sales Engineering professional.
Ideally have bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or Computer Science and/ or equivalent field experience with electronic access control systems, Physical Security Solutions & industry, and/or information technology
Experience with LenelS2 solutions or similar competitive solutions is an advantage
Good network within the security industry
Experienced in tender reviews, spec-in and bid support
Strong communicator
Open to remote and onsite activities with a share of 60% business travel under usual circumstances
Great links within the security industry with first experiences with public business
Good internal and external networker
Technical requirements
Solid technical knowledge of integrated security systems
Solid technical knowledge within access control
LenelS2 product knowledge and technical certification are a plus
Cloud and Virtualization skills will be a strong plus
Brilliant knowledge on how to practically apply Physical Security Solutions to provide added value to end user operations
Confident in explaining complex technical solutions to non-technical audiences
Proficiency in IT terminology, common market applications and architecture designs
