Are you a Field Service Engineer within the Sandhurst area looking for an opportunity to work with a thriving UK's leading supplier of radiation dosimetry systems which are used by Hospitals, industrial, nuclear and research facilities.

As a Field Service Engineer will be responsible for service visits, call outs and installations at customers premises approximately 2 days a week.
Along with repairs and manufacturing at out base in Sandhurst approx.
3 days a week.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• As a Field Service engineer you will attend customer sites and perform routine, preventative maintenance


• Troubleshoot and perform diagnostics on malfunctioning equipment, determine possible causes for malfunctions, and perform repairs as suggested by diagnostics and assessment.


• To carry out engineering installation and commissioning of equipment at customers sites in UK and Ireland


• Flexibility to support customers and when necessary attend customer sites at short notice and out of normal working hours when required


• Maintain accurate records of mechanical changes and write up change logs


• To maintain and improve upon personal skills related to the position, through experience and training


• Support for any technical issues


• Promote the Phoenix product line when liaising with customers and support the sales team with quotations.

Key Skills and Competencies

• Previous Mechanical and Electronics experience


• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings


• Mechanical fitting skills


• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings


• Ability to wire to drawing


• Experience with Medical equipment machinery


• Good diagnostic skills and logical fault finding ability


• Prepared to travel and work independently.


• Full UK driving licence


• Prepared to undergo security clearance
