Field Service Engineer – Home based - UK & Ireland - £40k + overtime + car/car allowance (£5500) + bonus = £60k+ package
Samuel Frank is recruiting a Field Service Engineer to cover the UK & Ireland. We are looking for individuals with excellent electrical knowledge who are skilled in motors, low voltage instrumentation, loop controls, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting.
The successful Field Service Engineer will be joining a dynamic and friendly team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and delivering the highest level of service.
Requirements for the Field Service Engineer role include:
- Previous experience of working as a Field Service Engineer
- Good electrical knowledge with experience in motors, low voltage instrumentation, loop controls, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting
- Ideally have some PLC fault finding experience
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
- Flexibility to work weekends and travel for occasional large jobs
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training to further develop your skills and knowledge
Key Responsibilities of the Field Service Engineer role include:
- Provide technical support to customers on site and remotely
- Perform testing, commissioning and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment
- Respond to emergency call-outs and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Conduct regular maintenance checks to ensure equipment is operating at optimal performance
- Participate in training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines
