This fantastic opportunity will involve working as part of a team in providing repair and service on the company’s own document management solutions as well as other manufacturers product ranges such as EPOS devises.
You will work face-to-face with customers to provide high-quality work and rapid problem-solving solutions. Travel throughout North Yorkshire will be necessary.
- Preferably Qualifications in Electronics/Mechanic
- Skills/ experience in Field Service of EPOS/document scanners and /or storage products is desirable.
- Ability to understand digital technology (PC hardware & and associated software, peripheral interfaces, and network protocols) is essential.
- CDIA & A+ qualified. (desirable)
- Must commit to completing product training as required.
- Must have the ability to work a reasonable amount of overtime to meet business needs
- You must be able to demonstrate, understand, and apply workplace values.
- Good Customer service skills
- Must have a full UK driving license.
What will your role as a Field Service Engineer look like?
- Provide repair/service to equipment on customer’s premises.
- Actively works as part of a team to improve team performance in terms of service delivery.
- Assists customers via telephone and on-site visits.
- Diagnose equipment and repair it in a timely fashion.
- Attends training courses to meet business needs.
