A Nationwide company is looking for a FieldService Engineer (Security/Alarms) to join their team based in the Northof England.
Pay: GBP35,000 per annum

Basis: Permanent
The Security Service Engineer will be instrumental in maintaining, servicing, and upgrading a variety of security systems to meet and exceed current standards and customer expectations.
This role is suited for a technologically adept individual who enjoys problem-solving and is dedicated to delivering outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain CCTV, Fire and Security Systems in line with current standards and customer requirements.
- Perform scheduled and reactive maintenance on a range of security systems, including CCTV, Intruder, Access, and Fire systems, with a focus on leading brands.
- Ensure compliance with current standards and customization to meet client needs.
- Respond efficiently to service calls, providing prompt and effective solutions, remotely and in the field.
- Participate in engineering team meetings, contributing insights and feedback.
- Pursue personal training and development opportunities to enhance technical skills.
- Support colleagues and promote a collaborative work environment.
- Participate in installation project and undertake systems commissioning duties.
- Completing required compliance paperwork and marking up as fitted drawings.
Requirements
- Experience and comprehensive knowledge in servicing and maintaining security systems, such as:
CCTV: Hanwha, Dahua, Hikvision, Axis, Adpro
Intruder Alarm Systems: Texecom, Honeywell Galaxy, Ajax, Risco, CSL Dualcom communicators
Access Control: Paxton
Fire Systems: GENT, Advanced, Protec, Ctec (Desirable) - Strong technical background in the security and particularly with IP systems.
- Professional customer service skills and a positive can-do attitude.
- Willingness to participate in a Call Out Rota for remote assistance (pay per call).
- Strong TCP/IP networking skills and willingness to learn new IT skills.
- Current Valid and clean driving license (Essential).
