They have inherited the excellent engineering resources and power design knowledge since 1906 and further development into telecom, industrial and medical markets.
They are looking for a Field Service Engineer to help them providing support to their main clients in UK. You will join a team of 4 people and will operate on data center solutions (UPS, HVAC, structural, IT infrastructure, security systems etc.)
Your missions :
* Responsible for electrical discipline design. Capability to understand other disciplines in data center solutions (UPS, HVAC, structural, IT infrastructure, security systems etc.) for optimal tender response.
* Close cooperation with sales, including preparation of quotations, solution presentations and solution development
* Li-ion and VRLA battery sizing. Optimal battery selection based on requirements.
* LV Switchboard design and requirements understanding. Single line diagram development and cost arrangement for LV switchboards.
* Power busways arrangement, design and costing. Busway product understanding.
* Collaboration with local partners to arrange other services requested by project/tender
Skills required :
* University degree: electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or industrial automation
* 5 to 10 years work experience in electrical applications, plus
* 3 to 5 years work experience in data center design or similar large and complex projects.
* Experience in electrical design and documentation development.
* Experience with critical electrical equipment as UPS, batteries, busways, switchboards.
* Solid communication skills, both written and oral, to work across multiple engineering and manufacturing teams to bring architectures and concepts to deployment.
* Very good oral and written communication skills in English Language
* Solution-based thinking.
Salary : 50-55K£ + 10% bonus + allowance
