Field Service Engineer

FINTEC recruit is seeking Field Service Engineers for our client within the Oil and Gas sector visiting clients locatated in  Wiltshire up to Cheshire.  This is a permanent role with salary circa £40,000 plus benefits, plus company vehicle, laptop, mobile phone, working 37.5 hours per week, regular  overtime working at enhanced rates.

This role is flexible on location and training etc is carried out the offices in Wiltshire where you would have to be based at the Wiltshire office for training.

Responsibilities:

• Calibration & Maintenance of Loading Systems and Metering equipment, including – PD Meters, Turbine Meters and Mass meters
• Fault finding / Repair / Maintenance
• Understanding of Risk and method statements
• Carrying out work under a permit-controlled environment.

Skills and Experience Required for the Field Service Engineer role:-

• Experience of Calibration of all types of flow meters
• Qualified in mechanical engineering 
• Producing all relevant paperwork and certification
• Produce Exception Report following each visit to site.
• Experience of working within hazardous areas
• Promote Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental culture
