Our client a leading and well-established civil engineering contractor, is seeking a skilled and experienced Field Service Engineer to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular maintenance, repairs, and inspections on a variety of plant equipment, ensuring optimal functionality.

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, providing efficient and effective solutions.

Collaborate with project managers and site teams to coordinate equipment deployment and maintenance schedules.

Perform routine safety checks and maintain accurate records of service activities.

Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns, providing on-site support to minimize downtime.

Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer, preferably within the civil engineering or construction industry.

Strong knowledge of plant equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and related machinery.

Proficient troubleshooting skills with a sound understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Flexibility to work on-site across Northampton, Bedfordshire, and surrounding areas.

Qualifications:

Relevant technical qualifications in mechanical or electrical engineering.

Possession of a valid driving license.
