Working across the south / south-east and in the following postcode areas; OX / RG / SO / GU / PO / BN / TN / CT / ME / RH. From Oxford down to Southampton anywhere below the M25 all of the way to the north Kent coast.
Type: Full-time
Working hours: 40 hours per week (25 days holiday, bank holidays off and Birthday off)
Job Function: The primary responsibility of this role is to provide on-site engineering support, ensuring efficient operation and maintenance of equipment at customer sites.
Liaising with: Customers, Depot Managers, Customer Service Engineers, Service Controllers
Ideal Candidate Profile: We are seeking an individual with excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
Implement routine servicing schedules for equipment at customer sites.
Attend breakdowns on site, conduct fault diagnosis, and perform necessary rectifications.
Conduct planned maintenance for all equipment at customer sites.
Maintain and review optimal stock levels of van parts, ensuring availability for on-site repairs.
Record parts usage accurately on the works mobile tablet.
Process all job-related activities promptly and accurately on the works mobile tablet.
Identify and report any potential customer recharge situations to the Service Controller.
Provide support to other areas and depots when needed.
Ensure cleanliness, tidiness, and maintenance of the company vehicle in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
Adhere to the company's Employee handbook policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role.
Valid driving license.
Proficiency in relevant mechanical knowledge, including electrical and hydraulic systems.
Strong attention to detail.
Flexibility regarding travel, task assignments, and working hours.
Excellent time management skills.
