Field Service Engineer (Trainee)

The Office Coffee Company is a rapidly growing business providing excellent Field Service to offices across the UK. You will be friendly and willing to adapt to an ever-changing environment. It is a fast-paced role where a technically minded person with excellent problem-solving skills will thrive and rise to the challenge. You'll be a friendly, reliable face to our customers, new and old, and ensure they always have access to the high standard of drinks they have become accustomed to. We hire individuals who are the right fit for our organisation. Of course, previous experience is desirable. However, we will consider people from all walks of life who enjoy fixing things as full training will be provided.

Essential

As your day-to-day work environment will often be in our customers' offices, you will need to be a well-presented, outgoing and personable individual - we like to think that you'll be a safe pair of hands for our client's needs. You'll need a full driver's licence (ideally with no penalty points) and generally be a comfortable, proficient driver. You will have a logical approach to fault finding and repairing, as we pride ourselves on our high first-time fix percentage. This, coupled with a willingness to learn and improve, will make you the ideal candidate in a sector with an ever-changing landscape.

Desirable

It would be great if you have experience in a similar role, preferably with some relevant qualifications to back up your education and experience in the field. Basic IT skills will help your application enormously - the administrative element of the role will certainly require it, though training will be given. Knowledge of different types of bean and brew, as well as an active interest in and passion for coffee, would also be great, as is to be expected from a position with the Office Coffee Company. You'll be moving parts and machinery around frequently, so you'll no stranger to a bit of heavy lifting.
