Job Role: Field Service Engineer

Location: Midlands

Salary Range: £40,000 - £50,000

As a Field Service Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining reputation for excellence by delivering top-notch service to valued customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct preventative maintenance at customer sites in adherence to service contract requirements.
• Assist in the installation, overhaul, and retrofit of product range machines.
• Perform servicing and repairs on chamber machines as needed.
• Engage with customers to promote service contracts and aftersales products.
• Collaborate internally to identify opportunities for service contracts, consumables, or machine installations.
• Support the development of service proposals and provide technical assistance to sales/key account managers.
• Offer recommendations to customers based on scheduled maintenance assessments.
• Independently carry out maintenance operations outlined in service contract schedules.
• Work as part of a team on larger maintenance projects.
• Participate in technical training sessions and update meetings to stay current with skills.
• Assist lead technicians in equipment installation or modification when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar Field Service role preferred.
• Technical aptitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational abilities with attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
