SalaryField Service Engineer
- Permanent staff position, Monday to Friday
- Home-based, working across Scotland & the North of England (job will involve being away from home regularly during the week)
- £38,000 - £40,000 basic + overtime and on call allowances
- Option of company vehicle or vehicle allowance
An experienced Service Engineer with a predominantly electrical skillset is wanted by a leading global engineering company.

What You’ll Bring to the Team
- Recognised engineering qualifications, ideally electrical
- Any combination of mechanical, instrumentation or controls skillsets are also beneficial
- Proven experience within a Field Service / field maintenance role
- CompEx trained
- Exposure to COMAH and/or ATEX environments would be good
- Good level of IT literacy
- A full UK driving licence
What You’ll Be Doing
- Working on various industrial sites around Scotland & the North of England
- Performing routine maintenance and repairs on fire & explosion protection systems, diagnosing faults and providing technical solutions
- Providing remote technical support to customers where possible
- Reading schematics and tech drawings
- Managing your own diary, including travel arrangements
- Representing the business in a customer-facing role, providing a professional & polite service
As well as a competitive base salary and OT/on call payments, you will receive up to 27 days annual leave + BH, enhanced pension & life assurance.
