Job title: Mobile / Field Service Freight Wagon Fitter Job location: Based in Stoke with work in Lanc's and North Wales Hourly pay rate: GBP13.51 per hour PAYE or GBP25,309.00 basic Shifts: Days Hours per week: 36 hours per week plus overtime occasional nights out, with allowances Duration: Perm Start date: Immediate where possible Industries considered: Mobile/Plant Maintenance, Rail, Automotive Mechanics, Fast fit Centre Fitters and HM Forces Disciplines considered: Mechanical Fitting, Fabrication and Ground Staff, Fast Fit Centre type experience Client Summary: A Market Leader in the maintenance, service and repair of Rail Freight WagonsPosition SummaryWe are looking for a Pro-Active Team Player to join a small but busy team responsible for the general maintenance, service and repair of Rolling Stock The role will involve such procedures as spring and brake block changes, general repairs to door latches and pre use maintenance; therefore, we are looking for someone who has a min of 12-18 months' experience of hands on tools work experience.The role will form part of a 2-man team, starting out from the Stoke area and then commuting to where the work for the day is being undertaken. Person Profile/Experience:This would suit an aspiring mechanic looking for an opportunity to break in to the Rail Engineering Industry, ex Forces Engineers, Plant Maintenance, Aerospace or Automotive/Fast Fit Centre Engineering skills will be suitable for this roleYou will be physically fit and healthy, have a good sense of humour and be prepared to work outdoors where required.
