We've partnered with this exciting startup based in Cambridge, who produce high end mechanical devices in their search for a Field Service Technician, to support their worldwide operations.
The successful candidate will be installing, maintaining, and repairing the companies cutting-edge systems. With tasks ranging from site surveying, installation, repair and maintenance of the monitors and the associated network equipment, you'll be on the front line of the rollout of this new, revolutionary technology.
A significant part of the role will be liaising with customers so we're looking for a strong communicator with expertise to deliver high levels of customer satisfaction.
This role will involve considerable travel throughout the UK and internationally. When you aren't on field visits you will be able to work from home on the other aspects of the role.
The ideal candidate for this role will have experience in the installation, maintenance and repair of electronics and mechanical systems.
Basic knowledge of software and IT is also essential. Along with these skills the successful candidate will have:
- Experience troubleshooting and working with complex systems involving software, electronics, and mechanical systems
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Valid driving licence
- Experience of working within remote diagnostic, technical support to clients and customers
- Experience of travelling for a role, sometimes at short notice

Location: Cambridge with travel required up to 75% of the time throughout the UK,
Europe and around the world.
