- Basic Salary: Circa £35,000 - £40,000 per annum – Dependent on experience

This is a key role for the business, ensuring that their clients are receiving accurate reporting and inspections of their vehicles. You will be covering areas such as Ashford, Canterbury, Dartford, Dover, Folkestone, Maidstone & Tonbridge.
This is a customer facing role and with support from your team, will entail estimating on various accident repair sites as well as liaising with clients to arrange a suitable time to assess the vehicle at their homes/places of work, on average covering 7 – 8 inspections per day.
Our client is open to applications for VDA’s with experience within practical setting of the Accident repair network.

- Undertake the inspection of damaged vehicles.
- Assessing the full extent of the damage &costs of repair
- Consider the accident circumstances as advised and offer comments if any damage noted at time of inspection is not consistent with the circumstances.
- Identify the correct prescribed repair method and prepare, record, and maintain records of electronic and manual estimates.
- Complete image/desktop inspections as required to support our imaging engineers on quieter days in your area.
- Ensure inspection reports are completed with the agreed time to adhere to service lead agreements.
- You will also effectively liaise with customer’s engineers and technicians to explain and ensure they understand the repair methodology.
- Be able to produce work that complies with the highest technical and quality standards and, above all, helps deliver on their service commitment to customers.
- Self-Motivated and able to work without supervision.
- To work to a high level of professionalism and ethical standards.
- Ideally you will have an ATA Vehicle Damage Assessor Qualification or working towards this.
- String working knowledge of Vehicle construction and Repair techniques.
- Working knowledge of estimating systems such as Audatex, Glass Repair Estimates or similar
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent time management skills
- An understanding of vehicle salvage categorisation.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- An understanding of insurance principals and motor claims process.
- Willing to undertake additional training ad qualifications such as AQP for salvage categorisation and IAEA membership.
- You will need to have a full UK/EU Driving Licence
- Right to work within the UK
