Job description

Salary: £29,748 - £31,557 per annum

The BFI is looking for an experienced Administrator to provide administrative support to the Director of the National Lottery Filmmaking Fund and Senior Executive, Sales & Distribution in relation to the slate of projects backed by the Filmmaking Fund.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage correspondence that relate to the sales and distribution of the films on the slate, including summarising correspondence and meeting updates and planning of events.  Be the point of contact for events and screenings for titles on the slate, on behalf of the Director and Senior Executive.
  • Diary management, event & meeting coordination including financial administration that relate to festival trips and events.
  • Provide wider administrative support for the Filmmaking Fund team.

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • Proven experience of delivering effective personal or executive assistant support, including travel arrangements, diary and email management and recording and preparing minutes.
  • Experience of handling tight deadlines and last-minute changes under pressure, adapting quickly and problem-solving independently.
  • The ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information and business matters.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to prioritise and to manage and meet deadlines.
