JOB TITLE: Finance Analyst
LOCATION: Bridgwater, Somerset
SALARY: Circa £35,000- £40,000 PA DOE
HOURS: 8.45am - 5.15pm, Monday to Friday
BENEFITS: 22 days holiday (rising by 1 day per year, up to 25 days), plus Bank Holidays, Private Pension Scheme (contributions are 4% employer, 5% employee), onsite parking, EAP Program, Cycle to Work Scheme, friendly and welcoming team, company uniform.

THE ROLE: This is an exciting opportunity to develop the future direction of finance within the business. As the Finance Analyst you will dive deep into the heart of the financial operations, uncovering insights that drive critical decision. You will work closely with all departments to improve the service that finance offers to ensure financial integrity and controls are maintained and that finance always adds value.
KEY DUTIES:
- Generation of new product costings.
- Audit and updates to the bill of materials.
- Production and distribution of weekly and monthly sales reports.
- Sales and forecast analysis at a customer and product level.
- Working on projects and processes to improve commercial accuracy, including preparation of information for meetings.
- Ensuring project pipeline tracker is up to date with approval statuses and spend vs budget.
- Audit and analysis of Project PO's and GRN's.
- Posting of journals and preparing data for month end and board meeting deadlines.
- Other statistical reporting, working with other members of the team to deliver reporting to internal & external stakeholders.
- Developing systems, processes and analysis of the business.
THE PERSON:
- Strong statistical and analytical skills.
- Good interpersonal communication skills, both written and oral.
- Be confident when working with different areas of the business and be able to present complex data that meet the needs of the audience.
- Part qualified in a professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, ICAEW or CIMA), with demonstrable experience in manufacturing, producing quantitative heavy data and analysis.
- Be comfortable about dealing with ambiguity and have the ability work independently and with other departments.
- Ability to communicate at all levels of a business both internally and externally.
- Excellent IT skills, using Microsoft Office suite of programmes and professional software packages.
- Good organisation and planning skills.
