Prestigious opportunity for a Finance Applications Support Analyst within a pioneering technology team. Dedicated to supporting financial applications for a market leading Health and Social care organisation, we are expanding and welcome you to join our success story!As our Financial Systems Applications Support Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting our Finance applications customers to ensure functionality across teg application suite:-
- Providing 2nd line support for Finance application incidents through to resolution
- Completing root cause analysis to resolve incidents and problems that arise with Finance Applications
- Capturing business requirements to ensure application's content is aligned with business needs
- Supporting and guiding business through reporting opportunities across financial applications to promote decision-making
- Capturing and understanding reporting requirements for Finance Applications and assessing what reports by their nature need automation and therefore application development.
- Ensuring application patching is undertaken and actively managed to optimise application availability
- Ensuring that vendors deliver to SLA to resolve incidents and problems with applications
- Updating data within applications to ensure data integrity for scheduled events e.g. new tender wins, financial planning and year end
If you possess a combination of some of the following skills, then LETS TALK!
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills and good knowledge of a range of Finance applications
- Experience of delivering customer service / application support in a range of fast moving environments
- Awareness of ITIL is advantageous but not essential.
- Familiar with business support applications (Finance and HR) e.g. Infor SunSystems v6.4, Infor BI v12, Medius application, iTrent, SAP Business Objects, or bespoke in-house applications
- Knowledge of Testing and Release Management
- Efficient in problem solving skills and have a desire to innovate and ensure continuous improvement
- Experience within a large commercial organisation
