Finance Apprentice (Apprenticeship)

Purchase Ledger - Managing all supplier Invoices, to include matching with Purchase
Orders, reconciling to Statements, obtaining sign off & preparing payment.
Sub-Contractor Ledger – Ensuring successful verification of all Sub-Contractors used by the
business, via the HMRC portal.
Alternative Payment Methods – Monitoring and processing spend on the company credit card, paypal
account and any alternative method used to facilitate payments.
Purchase Ledger Month End Reconciliations – Leading on the completion of all relevant Month End reconciliations,
in accordance with agreed deadlines.
Departmental Support – Actively supporting the Finance Coordinator with any additional
tasks, as required.
Site Operative Payroll – Assisting with processing of the Weekly payroll, ensuring our Site
Operatives are paid in accordance with their Contract of Employment.
Training
Accounts or Finance Assistant Level 2 Accounts or Finance Assistant Apprenticeship. The apprenticeship will be delivered by our provider Learning Skills Partnership via online learning, combining on line lectures and one to one sessions.
Qualifications required

A
minimum of four GCSEs at grade C (or 4) and above, including English and Maths
Skills required

be able to use your initiative

Good
knowledge of MS Office programmes
Prospects
Full training will be given to ensure that the apprentice has the skills and expertise to become a permanent member of the team upon completion of the apprenticeship programme.
