SalaryChase & Holland are partnering with a leading engineering business who are looking for an experienced Finance Assistant to support the business through substantial period of growth which is set to continue.

- Maintaining and managing purchase ledger accounts
- Timely and accurate processing of purchase ledger invoices
- Expense processing
- Ensure vendor accounts are accurately reconciled
- Manage any vendor queries
- Allocating payments
- Maintaining spend registers in supporting control of major expenditure such as transport and energy costs
- Assist with month end and year end closing processes
- Other ad hoc finance support including holiday cover
Required Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience of working with purchase ledger and cash book transactions are required
- Experience in Sage will be an advantage
- Excellent organisational and people skills are keys to succeed in this role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel
