SLR are looking to recruit a Finance Assistant to provide support to the department in various financial tasks. This role would be ideal for a candidate with previous experience in a finance department or someone looking for their first step in a finance career.

The role
You will support the team with a variety of duties, including:
  • Posting cash receipts and updating the cashbook on daily basis
  • Updating the bank reconciliations and liaising with the finance team to resolve unreconciled transactions
  • Assist Accounts payable and Staff expense team
  • Providing support and information to the Finance team and wider business

About you
We are seeking someone who has the potential to excel in meticulous transaction reconciliation, with a keenness for continuous learning and skill development. You will be capable of both collaborative teamwork and independent initiative; you can work well in a remote support environment and are willing to commute to London twice a week.
You will also have:
  • Understanding of financial systems and processes
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills and accuracy in data entry
  • Proficiency in MS Excel – VLOOKUPs and pivot tables
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
